As a ministry, our greatest desire is to see middle school students encounter God the Father through a relationship with Jesus. We are so excited for Encounter Weekend 2024, where we will worship, study the Bible, & play some exciting games together!

Who: Students currently in 5th, 6th, or 7th grade

In the buckle of the Bible Belt, many children grow up under the banner of their parents’ faith. As a result, much of their relationship with Jesus can be more connected to their parents than it is to Jesus. Our greatest desire is to see your middle school student ENCOUNTER Jesus in such an evident way that their faith becomes THEIRS. We want them to have the same encounter as those who listened to the woman at the well in John 4.

They first heard of Jesus being the Messiah from this woman, but then they went to Him. After they encountered Him personally, their faith was not connected to anyone other than Jesus.

We are actively believing and praying Ephesians 1:17 over these students: “I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.”
