For the second year in a row, we will be leading a mission team to Japan. Through some providential circumstances, God has developed a partnership between us and Pastor Tsugeru Irie, a pastor of a small fellowship of believers in Toyota City, Japan, who is in need of support and encouragement. We are looking forward to continuing to deepen our relationship and provide Pastor Tsugeru with an amazing team of servants who want to help their Church reach the next generation for Christ. Pastor Tsugeru is a young leader with a family and is working alone in a city with great need. While there, we will be hosting a Vacation Bible camp for primary-age students and leveraging that as a bridge for the gospel. We will be spending time in Tokyo and Toyota City, and in addition to this camp, a large part of this trip will be learning the spiritual history and challenges of Japan, which makes Japan one of the hardest countries on earth to work in mission, as only 1% of the Japanese population is a professing Christian.
