This fight will be won by prayer.
We want to invite you into a Church-wide commitment to pray for life and pray against the work of Planned Parenthood. We are giving out a keychain that will remind us to stay committed and focused to pray.
If you missed getting one the weekend we gave them out, please stop by our welcome desk to pick one up.
Planned Parenthood of Tennessee and North Mississippi has hired a Health Educator whose job will be to examine current sex education programs, including those within Hamilton County schools, and offer a “comprehensive sex education” curriculum meeting their National Sex Education standards.
We are gathering signatures to present to Hamilton County Schools superintendent, Dr. Bryan Johnson and the school board, imploring them to stand against any influence by Planned Parenthood.

Another way you can support mothers who have decided to keep their child after considering an abortion, is to invite them into your family and our church family. Choices Pregnancy Center will offer training for families who are interested in how to come alongside a woman who is a new mom and could greatly benefit from community.
Calvary Chapel Chattanooga is partnering with Choices to help them establish an Abortion Pill Reversal Program.
The Abortion Pill is typically provided to women who are up to 10 weeks pregnant, with the first dose taken at a clinic and the second dose taken at home within 24-48 hours. The Abortion Pill Reversal procedure (APR) is a way to reverse the effects of the abortion pill (mifepristone/RU-486) after the first dose has been taken. The abortion pill is a two-step process in which the first pill kills the child and the second pill ejects the child from the mother’s womb. There is a very high percentage of women that take the first pill due to pressure from the father of the child or from the mother’s family. Many women experience regret after they take the first pill and end up calling an emergency hotline number and try to find a clinic that offers the Abortion Reversal Pill. Choices wants to become an approved clinic in our area that can respond to these cries of help and step in to save these babies.
Choices’ plan is to launch an APR program to their clients at no cost. This will give them the opportunity to help women who have started the process of aborting, by taking the first abortion pill but have changed their mind and want to continue their pregnancy. The treatment includes starting with an ultrasound as soon as possible to confirm heart rate, placement, and dating of the pregnancy. The patient is then prescribed progesterone, given as a pill to take orally. The treatment will then continue through the first trimester of pregnancy. We have the opportunity to save innocent lives and would ask you to join us in this effort. Our goal is to raise $150,000 to help Choices get this APR program up and running.
This money will go towards:
1) Training & Materials
2) Marketing (sizeable amount will be spent on college campuses)
3) Staff Hires
4) Medical Services and Family Services
5) Post Abortion Support
