 We're Building! After several real estate transactions construction has begun.
In 2006 we purchased the Old Bi-Lo building and adjacent retail space. The initial purchase included 40,000 sq ft of space on 3.8 acres of land just north of Lookout Mountain on Broad Street. We purchased an additional acre attached to the property to provide extra parking space and then in 2007 we completed our final real estate transaction, purchasing the old Ruby Falls property on the Southwest corner of our property. So Calvary Chapel's new home is currently a little over 5 acres.
Construction began in late 2007 and we are scheduled to be occupying our new worship facility in November of 2008.
