How we're pursuing these: 4 practices
Word: Our philosophy is simple. We believe that God can be known. Desires to be known. Has made Himself known. He makes Himself known to us today primarily through His Word - the Bible. We spend time together corporately studying the Word of God that we may know Him and that we may know how to love Him more!
Worship: The Bible teaches that we were made to worship. We spend time together in corporate worship because it's what we're created to do.
Withness: The church wherever it has been "successful" has discovered what the first church knew instinctively. Namely that we do this thing together better than we ever could alone! Together has power. We spend time together in small groups so that we can make spiritual progress in this life for God's glory!
Witness: Our mission is to go and make disciples of all nations. An outward expression of our faith should be the by product of Word rich, Worshipful, and people who live in Community (Withness) with others. We spend time individually and corporately seeking to meet the needs of others in our community and world so that the love and goodness of God would be displayed to those still in darkness.
