One Youth

One Youth

Wednesday Nights 6:00pm-6:30pm in the M58 Cafe, then service from 6:30 – 8:15pm in the Youth Building

The depth of intimacy that Jesus experienced with God the Father is the same depth of intimacy that He desires for us to share in with Himself. How much more amazing to recognize that Jesus’ prayer in John 17:21 wasn’t exclusive to just the disciples, but a prayer that He prays for us! It is a prayer that builds momentum, bleeding into deeper relationships within the body and radically impacting the lost outside the church walls! That kind of oneness is the aim of our student ministry here at Calvary Chapel. We desire to create an environment where young people can pursue oneness with their Creator. We believe that oneness with God will lead to oneness with others which will lead to their discovering the one thing that matters in life.

John 17:11, 17, 20-23

“Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are.” … “Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.” … “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.”
